Knowledge Athletes now has a web link to its home page from the Greece Central School District's website main page. Students can now access the Knowledge Athletes site directly from their school district's site to participate in their Knowledge Athletes student forums and blogs. | Next-Generation Measurement Tool for Academic Achievement is Now Available - Sunday, November 11, 2007Sunday, November 11, 2007. Knowledge Athletes® has released it's Grammaticon™ annotation and aggregation software. Grammaticon™ gives educators and business professionals the ability to quickly annotate media for subsequent analysis and reporting. It's currently being used in pilot classrooms to evaluate and track student progress in ELA and Social Studies classrooms.

Knowledge Athletes®, Inc. is pleased to announce the deployment of its High School Literacy Engagement Program™ and Educational Practice System™, through a new website developed by OS-Cubed of Rochester, NY. Knowledge Athletes®, Inc. will be piloting with school districts in Monroe County throughout the 2007-2008 academic year to assist local high schools with research-based literacy events and student leadership practices that make extensive use of educational networking technologies and contemporary media.

Knowledge Athletes®, Inc. has unveiled Phase 2 of its High School Literacy Engagement Program, Connections and Intersections™. This year-long pilot is being implemented across multiple school districts in Monroe County to engage students in contemporary literacy and leadership practices through extensive use of educational networking technologies and contemporary media.

Blogging as Learning Tool
Interesting article from Ruth Reynard of Campus Technology online ezine about the value of blogging as an instructional tool. Her suggestions about "Ongoing Challenges" are right on target with our own experiences in classrooms using Knowledge Athletes® software and programs. The author's thoughts on student reflections, commentaries, and idea statements were also very typical of our experiences. The sections on "Integrated Use" and "Grading Value" should link very nicely with the benefits provided by our integrated Grammaticon™ technology.
